Install muslin

Prerequisites: React 18+ and Tailwind CSS v4. Two ways to bring a component into your project.

As an npm package

Install the system package alongside Tailwind CSS v4:

pnpm add @loom/muslin-react

Wire Tailwind to the component sources and the token CSS:

@import "tailwindcss";
@source "../node_modules/@loom/muslin-react/dist";
@import "@loom/muslin-react/tokens.css";

Adjust the @source path if your package manager places modules elsewhere (pnpm, npm, and yarn all resolve to node_modules/@loom/muslin-react/dist).

Wrap your app in data-theme / data-accent:

  <!-- your app -->
</div>

By copying source

Pull component source into your project with the Loom CLI:

npx @loom/cli add Button --registry https://loom.xmuu.my.id

Component names are PascalCase (Button, DropdownMenu, …).

Source lands flat in src/components/loom/; dependencies in the registry record are installed for you. From then on the code is yours to change.
